Ottawa 4-2

I think Ottawa needs a dust up tonight, they are bigger and heavier then Toronto and will want to push them around and establish that identity, I see a chippy game, Ottawa will try to dominate physically.

Can't disagree. Neil will get very brave since that offensive dynamo Kyle McLaren is not around to keep him honest. Ottawa win?.. sure why not, Toronto win?.. sure why not.
Let the Battle for 5th/6th place in the division begin, because that's where they both will be at years end.

Sens are in a much better position then Toronto is, Toronto isn't making the playoffs, Ottawa has a legit shot and should make it

I know you are predisposition to expect a hockey meltdown and are on the lookout for rogue 18 wheelers, Sens fans don't expect this, Sens make the playoffs on a regular basis

outshot every game, played 2 teams that didn't even make the playoffs last year...one of the worst shots for and against totals in the league (I'm sure that translates into some bad CORSI stats - but I have no idea - that aint' my thing). I think you better cool your jets son. These teams are pretty comparable lol neither is very good.

Please don't pay heed to Tuna, he is our resident mouth-jabber spewing everything and anything that comes into his mind.

Collectively we know we're playing on borrowed time until our blue line shapes up, tonight it could go either way.

I'm just hoping for an entertaining game with the deserving team winning.

Oh and I hope that's ottawa of course.

a nice 60 minute effort from both sides would translate into a pretty completive game - that's what I'm hoping for! Love the battle of Ontario

LOL, well put, but meltdowns are simply a by product of a team not being good enough. The Leafs are not good enough, they will be in the hunt again, but I agree they will miss. Too many soft hockey players that are core players.
As for Ottawa, I think they are on the right track, just not sold on their scoring depth at F or the D core.
I know we will agree to disagree.
Nice to have hockey up and running.
Good luck tonight

When you get down to it Ottawa has better goaltending, better Center depth and a more responsible top line that play 2-ways - to some the teams may look the same but they are completely different, Ottawa is bigger, heavier and slower - Toronto is fast but the Bozak line cannot play D and the Turris line can - that's the big difference

BY the numbers Reimer is 9-2-1 against Ottawa.
By memory; Anderson is seldom good against Toronto
Lehner should be the choice to start.

The only catch is I remember hearing the announcers say that they are alternating, and it has happened exactly like that so far.

Lehner played our last game so it is Andy's turn.

its a very competitve league, 24 teams 100% keeper with 7 rounds of draft picks ever year(but a list of how many you can keep at once)

We have 1 goalie slot per night open , 3 LW 3 RW 3 C 3 "forward" and 6 d
